Susan's life revolves around Music and Mayhem. After playing trumpet in the Boston area for many years, she began writing crime novels and moved to New Orleans, the setting for her award-winning thrillers, ABSOLUTION and DIVA. Now she divides her time between Boston and The Big Easy where she often speaks about her books and her Music & Mayhem Life. While teaching at Brown University and Berklee College of Music, she published articles about musicians and recently published WOMEN WHO DARED: Trailblazing 20th Century Musicians.
